Maybe you couldn’t concentrate at work. Perhaps you were lost in your daydream while waiting for your kids to finish school. Or perhaps you even took a deep dive into YouTube and began living vicariously through some world wanderer’s channel.
In short, wherever you were, you couldn’t shake the yearning for that magical someday.

Don’t believe us? Well at first we didn’t either!
After years of putting career and family and “responsibilities” first, we started to feel like we were trapped in the deferred life plan — you know — the idea that your first 65 years are for learning how and then doing the job of earning enough money that you can spend the last years of your life finally doing the things you love.
Sometimes it felt as though each new joyous milestone also brought new responsibilities that piled up and kept us from chasing the adventure we yearned for.
Then one day, as we approached our 15th wedding anniversary, we decided the kids were old enough that we could finally go — somewhere, anywhere!
A few months later we landed in Ireland for a week of exploration and adventure. And it felt so right!
The Realization
That trip to Ireland started something! It was subtle at first, but our mindset started to shift as we realized we could “Opt Out” of that deferred life plan and take another path. We began to realize we could chase that “someday” today and our lives would be richer for it!
And above all, we realized we could do this as a family! There is nothing quite like experiencing the wonder of a new place through the eyes of your kids.
So we bought a truck and fifth wheel and now we are excited and ready to explore the world. Ready to discover the epic, the amazing, the wonder.
So now, as our name says, we are Jonesing for Adventure and we can’t wait to get out there!
